“Camp” is the word used locally to describe the countryside outside of Stanley. The stunning scenery and abundance of wildlife make camp landings a must, and vital to give passengers a true Falkland Island experience.

BLEAKER ISLAND

Located just off East Falkland mainland, this small island teems with wildlife and since 1999 the north end of the island has been designated as a National Nature Reserve.

CARCASS ISLAND

Carcass is located northwest off West Falkland and fringed with white sand beaches, makes a stunning location.

GEORGE AND BARREN ISLANDS

George and Barren Island are located south of East Falkland, at the mouth of Falkland Sound, which separates West and East Falkland.

This Island is a nature reserve, and is owned by the Wildlife Conservation Society of New York.

GRAVE COVE

Grave Cove is part of Hope Harbour farm, which is located on West Falkland, adjacent to West Point Island.

KIDNEY COVE

Kidney Cove is part of the Murrell Farm, located on East Falkland, close to Stanley. Visitors are met at the landing point in Sparrow Cove and transported to Kidney Cove by land rover.

NEW ISLAND

New Island is located west of Weddell Island, and is one of the most abundant wildlife sites in the Falklands.

PEBBLE ISLAND

Pebble Island is situated north of West Falkland, and is the third largest offshore Island.

PORT HOWARD

Volunteer Point is part of Johnson’s Harbour farm, and is located northeast of Berkeley Sound. It is over 4 hours off road drive from Stanley.

Weddell Island is the largest offshore island in the Falklands archipelago.
